Eats: Nature's Varity Prairie Dehydrated Raw food, green beans, broccoli, some all meat canned or cooked meat.
Insulin: 13 units Humulin NPH (Novolin)
Treats: Waggers, I cook beef liver and all the dogs love it! Cluckers, Evo grainfree treats. He gets one dry treat at noon if bg is low or good, liver and one treat at bedtime if bg is good.
Other supplements: Nuzymes (digestive enzyme),Nzymes for Pets, Transfer Factor Advanced Plus
Medications: lopressor and benazypril

Started to go blind and had cataracts removed in April. '02

8/05 Bogie now has atypical Cushings and is being treated for that. It really messes up his glucose and I hope it is under control soon.

Stopped Lysodren for the Cushings several months ago, started Transfer Factor. Bg is great!
Bogie was dx'ed with prostate cancer in July of 2008 and passed on August 14, 2008. He was 12 and had diabetes almost 7 years.
Adopted Molly, a 6 year old diabetic Chihuahua (mix?) in Sept. 2006. Had cataracts removed in Feb. 2007.
She eats Nature's Variety Prairie Frozen Raw and Freeze dried.
She is 13 pounds, 2 pounds overweight and is getting 6 units Novolin N BID
